BACKGROUND...   A few words about my family and professional background...   My wife, Pamela, is a Neonatal Intensive Care nurse at Kaiser Santa Clara. She started in the NICU right out of her undergraduate degree program and has served the littlest and most fragile children ever since. Her dedication amazes me. I am an educator and psychotherapist by profession. I recently retired from education after a wonderful career as teacher, counselor, and administrator at Archbishop Mitty High School. I currently maintain a private practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist here in town.   Pam and I have two adult children, Danielle and Bryan. Danielle is a 5th grade teacher in Santa Barbara. Bryan is an executive chef in Rosemary Beach, on the Florida panhandle. Both are mature and independent young adults thanks in great part to their educational experiences at Van Meter Elementary, Fisher Middle, and Los Gatos High School.   Finally, we are blessed to have the best dog in town as a member of our family. Jack, our big yellow lab, doesn't really have a job, unless you consider exploring the town's parks on a daily basis work. He loves meeting little kids and other dogs. He cherishes his time with family. He's a great guy.   We have called Los Gatos home since 1974, buying here because of the small town character, the beautiful mountain setting, the rich and vibrant history, and the excellent schools. Everyday we feel blessed to have found Los Gatos so many years ago, and were able to make it our home. This has been truly a wonderful community within which to raise our family and experience the joys of small town.
